Svetlana holds a B.A. and M.A. in Linguistics, and she expects to receive her Master of Public Health (MPH) from the American Public University in January of 2013. She joins the Commission after working at the Office of Global Affairs, Office of the HHS Secretary as a foreign visits and trips coordinator. Prior to that she worked for a government contracting company and as a freelance Russian-English interpreter/translator/editor.
